Marmaduke the Great Dane

"Marmaduke" is a well-known animated character in the United States. Since it appeared on the newspaper in 1954, the Great Dane, who often makes a joke and makes its owner feel embarrassed, has been loved by Americans. Many Americans regard Marmaduke as their own family, and they sometimes name their pets Marmaduke. One columnist even commented on this dog: "Mamaduke should have his own voting rights." It is no easy task to adapt such a deeply rooted comic into a film. Especially when faced with this kind of popular book that has been popular for 50 years, the difficulty faced by the adapter will be even greater. Brad Anderson, the original author of the comic, said: "Over the years, some comics have gradually lost their luster, but my comics have survived. This is mainly due to the fact that I look at the world and problems around me from the perspective of a dog. I do not depict the dog from the perspective of its owner, I am like a dog. Dogs think like that. This Great Dane was inspired by my mom's boxer, but I made the dog bigger and more powerful because I think big dogs are sometimes more interesting - because you sometimes see giant dogs like Great Danes and Chihuahuas.
