Journey to the West: Five Elements Mountain

Wukong (played by Chen Xinzhe) fought against Tathagata. Tathagata slapped Wukong under the Five Elements Mountain with one palm, and also captured the 500-year time gap in the world of Journey to the West. For the past 500 years, Wukong has been waiting for the arrival of the Buddhist monk Tang Seng (played by Chi Chongrui). Taibai Jinxing brought him a Yuan Shen Bead, claiming that he could regain his freedom as long as he sent the bead to Fangcun Mountain, Lingtai. In order to gain freedom, Wukong was ordered to go out of the mountain. Along the way, he and the curious and brave Tianwei (played by Dong Jiuhe) rescued the innocent Huayin Fairy (played by Fu Mengni). The three went through disasters and searched for their hearts along the way. They met Zhu Bajie (played by Li Yaoxiang) who got married to A Cui (played by Zhang Xiyuan) in Zhujiacun, the general who was demoted to earth to harm the party, and the demon king Shiyuan who coveted the Yuanshen Pearl. How do Wukong, Bajie and Sha Monk join forces to fight the monster? Will Demon King Shiyuan’s fantasy of seizing the Soul Pearl and dominating the world come true?
