Dali Love Story

This is an experimental film based on real people, telling a love story about a female white-collar worker from a large Shanghai company and a local man from Dali who fell in love but missed each other. The story unfolds from the first-person perspective of the heroine. In the flow of her consciousness, the past and present, destination and distance, life and death... everything is both real and illusory. Is this familiar feeling a memory or an illusion? Is it a dream or reality? Perhaps as Sanmao said - "Love is like Buddhist Zen, it cannot be said or explained, and it is wrong to say it." The film's multi-dimensional narrative inserts documentary interview passages into the plot, hoping to trigger the audience's thinking about love. The editor, director and other creative staff are all local residents of Dali. The non-professional actors who starred in this film are all acting for the first time. This film is also the director's first feature film debut.
