Jack (Kevin Bacon) and Christine (Elizabeth McGovern) met by chance. The two fell in love at first sight and got married at a lightning speed. It was not until after the marriage that the two people gradually calmed down and began to realize that they seemed to be very different in terms of personality and outlook on life. In fact, neither of them could adapt to married life. However, just when they were about to give up, Christine found out that she was pregnant. Having lost their way out, the two had no choice but to bite the bullet and continue on the rugged road of marriage. After experiencing a series of twists and accidents, Christine was finally pushed into the delivery room. It was only then that Jack, who was beside her, realized how important his wife and child were to him.
