Children of Paradise

In the busy streets of Paris, the beautiful woman Garance (played by Arletty) first met actor Frédérick Lemaître (played by Pierre Brasseur), and then met Baptiste Deburau (played by Jean-Louis Barrault). She also has a suitor, Pierre-François Lacenaire, a man who steals things and does bad things. One night, Baptiste met Garance again in a bar. He confessed his love to her. Garance also liked Baptiste, and the two came to the hotel where Baptiste lived. Baptiste hoped that Garance would love him as much as he loved her, and left her room. It happened that Frédérick lived next door to Garance, and the two fell in love one night. Garance also joined Baptiste and Frédérick's troupe. At a show, a dandy, Comte Édouard d
