Where to Find the Soul

The story takes place in a small southern city in Kansas. Bud (Warren Beatty) is a high school student full of fantastic ideas. By chance, he meets a girl named Tiny (Natalie Wood). Tiny's beauty and gentleness deeply attracted Bud, making him fall in love. Bud even secretly swore in his heart that he would marry Tiny home in this life. However, in a small town with conservative folk customs, the romance between the two young people soon encountered strong opposition from both families, who all scorned these two sincere hearts. After a series of twists and turns, Bud, who gave up on himself, actually slept with Tiny's classmate (Audrey Christie). After hearing the news, Tiny suffered a mental breakdown.
