Mom's Memory

The rebellious and rude 15-year-old girl Lulu (Chloé Coulloud) lives with her parents in a quiet French countryside. Her mother, Juliette (Karin Viard) Lulu's mother was frail and sickly. In Lulu's memory, her mother never showed her happy side, and she often sat alone on the bench at night, thoughtful. By chance, Lulu found a photo of her mother when she was young in the cellar. In the photo, her mother was topless and smiling brightly. Soon Lulu found a videotape from her grandmother's house. When she was young, her mother fell in love with a handsome veterinarian named Jacques (played by Kad Merad). They were carefree and in love forever. Knowing the reason for her mother's depression, Lulu decided to arrange for the two to reunite. She originally hoped that the now old and ugly Jacques could crush her mother's fantasy, but she did not expect that it would rekindle the love between the old lovers...
