The Lonely Wife

Charulada (played by Madhabi Mukherjee) married her husband. However, what she did not expect was that what was waiting for her was not a married life full of happiness and joy. Charulada's husband is an intellectual. Although he is well-read in poetry and books, he chooses to devote all his energy to studying political publications. In his mind, his wife only needs to take care of the housework and does not need his companionship and understanding. As time went by, the relationship between Charulada and her husband became increasingly cold. She lived in loneliness all day long and was very depressed inside. At this juncture, her husband's cousin approached Charulada's life. He was a passionate poet who was full of longing for life. Under his influence, Charulada gradually got out of her melancholy and understood how to pursue her dreams.
