Later / the prophets of Thebes told Creon that he had offended the gods. Creon rushes to rescue Antigone / only to find her dead. Creon's son Haemon / who was Antigone's fiancé / drew his sword and stabbed Creon before committing suicide. When Creon's wife heard that her son was dead / she also committed suicide.
