Requiem

Michelle (Sandra Hüller) has been frail and sick since she was a child, but even so, she decided to enter university for further study. Her father Karl (Burghart Klaußner) is very supportive of her daughter's decision, but her mother Marian (Imogen Kogge) is opposed to it. Eventually, Michelle became a newcomer on the university campus, where she met a man named Steve (Nicholas Reinke). For the first time, Michelle experienced the sweetness of love. After a period of calm and orderly days, Michelle's old illness relapsed. Strange sounds and mysterious figures frequently flashed around her. Father Randall (Walter Schmidinger) even suspected that Michelle was possessed by the devil. When a priest named Pochet (Jens Harzer) decides to conduct an exorcism, things start to spiral out of control.
