Anne's Thousand Days

The story takes place in England in 1526. King Henry VIII of England (played by Richard Burton) is tired of his wife and falls in love with the beautiful girl Anne (played by Geneviève Bujold). However, Anne rejected Henry VIII's pursuit. In order to be close to Anne, Henry VIII promoted Anne to become a lady-in-waiting. In order to please the king, the king's secretary Cromwell (played by John Colicos) actively implemented the king's divorce plan. In the end, the king abolished the queen and forcibly married Anne as his wife. But not long after, the king fell in love with a woman named Jenny (Lesley Paterson), which made Anne very angry. Anne drove Jeanne away from the king, which angered the king and led him to implement his plan to get rid of Anne.
