The seven daughters of the Jade Emperor are preparing gifts for the Peach Festival. The seventh sister, Zi'er, observes the various situations in the world by the Yaochi and becomes playful. The rules in heaven and earth are quite different. Zi'er eats buns from the bun shop and cannot pay for them, so she is detained. At the critical moment, a young man named Dong Yong comes to the rescue, allowing Zi'er to return to heaven smoothly. Zi'er witnessed Dong Yong selling himself as a slave to Fu Yuan's wife to bury his father, and decided to go down to earth to help him in order to repay the kindness of saving him that day. The two became sworn brothers. Zi'er missed the peach meeting because she accompanied Dong Yong to dig ginseng. The Jade Emperor was furious and sent King Li to escort Zi'er back to heaven.
