Adam (Jake Gyllenhaal) is an associate professor of history at a university. He lives with his girlfriend, goes to and from get off work every day, and leads a peaceful life. Until one day, he discovered an actor who looked exactly like him in a movie. He used the Internet to find information about the actor and contacted him. An actor named Anthony who looks exactly like Adam has a pregnant wife. At first, he only regarded Adam as a crazy movie fan, until he searched for Adam's information on the Internet and finally decided to meet Adam. The two agreed to meet at a hotel.
