Bingo: Lord of the Morning

The film is adapted from real events and tells the story behind a man wearing a mask. Augusto (played by Vladimir Brichta) is an artist looking for a foothold in the spotlight, embarking on his mother's artistic path. His mother was a stage artist active in the 1950s. Sparing no effort to seek applause from his audience, he found an opportunity to win over his audience by becoming the most popular clown TV host of children's shows in the 1980s. After putting on a clown costume, Augusto achieved unprecedented success. But due to contractual terms that prohibited him from revealing his true identity, he became an anonymous celebrity. Augusto became a clown who brought joy to children across the country, but he did not bring happiness to his son Gabriel (Cauã Martins). In the eyes of his son Gabriel, his father is a man who pursues fame and alienates himself. The whole film is full of humor and irony, exaggerating the backstage world of Brazilian television in the 1980s. The film tells the surreal story of a man's search for his artistic value and the fall of his personality.
