Cold Night

In the late period of the Anti-Japanese War, he accompanied the capital Chongqing. Wang Wenxuan (played by Xu Huanshan), who advocates freedom, falls in love with his classmate Zeng Shusheng (played by Pan Hong) and lives together despite the opposition of his family. After entering the society, I discovered that there was a huge difference between ideals and reality, and eventually became a humiliated clerk. His wife, Shusheng, was dissatisfied with her poverty-stricken life, and relied on her good looks to get a job as a "flower vase" in a bank to supplement the family income. The bank's generous salary made Shusheng no longer want to return to a poor family. Eventually, she and the bank's young boss, Director Chen (played by Gao Fei), moved to Lanzhou. Shusheng, who was in a foreign land, always missed her husband and son in Chongqing. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, she returned to Chongqing from Lanzhou, but she didn't expect that Wenxuan had died of poverty and illness a few days ago...
