Story Summary Northern China, winter, a small town in Inner Mongolia, nine teenagers, two children, a group of vague adults. These idle people live in that dull place where nothing seems to happen. In the end, nothing happens. Director's explanation: If making a movie is compared to playing chess, what most people are doing is how to make every move better than others, but what I want to do is to move the chess pieces to the outside of the chessboard. Director's introduction Li Hongqi was born in Shandong in 1976. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Shandong Binzhou Institute of Education in 1995 and the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1999. In 1999, he began to publish novels and poems. His representative works include the novels "Lucky Man" and "I Feel There is Endless Energy in My Body" and the poetry collection "Clinical Experience".
