Silent Storm

9th Ward is a legendary neighborhood in New Orleans, USA. Its unique cultural atmosphere and close neighborhood relationships have nurtured generations of inheritors of New Orleans culture. Aurora, a high school student with musical talent, is one of them. But she, like many other children living in predominantly black communities, is troubled and even threatened by historical and systemic injustices to the black community, and Hurricane Katrina has made the already fragile community ecology of the 9th Ward even worse. Her childhood sweetheart's cousin was once at the top of the school like her, but now he is suspected of a vicious murder. Faced with the portrait of a murdered girl of her own age that is being broadcast in the media, the high reward offered by the victim's father in tears, the parents who are arguing about the family's inability to make ends meet, the hatred of the proliferation of guns on the streets, the cousin who has gone astray but cherishes family ties... How will Aurora, who is about to graduate from high school, make a choice?
