Little Joe

Alice, a single mother, is a very hardworking senior plant breeder at a company that develops new species. She designed a very special dark red flower that is not only eye-catching in appearance, but also outstanding in its health value: if the temperature is right, the nutrients are sufficient, and people talk to it regularly, this plant can make its owner happy. Alice broke company policy and took one home to give to her teenage son, Joe. They named the flower "Little Xiao Qiao". But as the flowers grow, Alice becomes increasingly suspicious that "Little Joe" may not be as innocent as its name suggests.
