Nicolas' Vacation

This film is the sequel to "Nicholas", which was popular in France in 2009 and attracted 5.5 million box office attendances. In this film, Nicholas goes on vacation with his parents and grandfather. Director Laurent Tyrard uses this film to pay tribute to the French silent comedy master Jacques Tati ("Monsieur Hulot's Holiday"). Maxime Godard, who originally played Nicolas, outgrew the role. Therefore, the role was played by Matteo Poselle instead. Bernadette Lafont, who played the grandmother in the first film, passed away in July 2013 and will be replaced by Dominique Lavonate. Cade Maillard and Valerie Lemesier will play the parents again, and Francois-Xavier de Messon, Francois Damian and others also participated in this film.
