Teen Detective

Abel Applebaum is a teenage detective who is now a 31-year-old adult, working on uninteresting and trivial cases and haunted by his original sense of identity. His parents were deeply concerned because Abel was completely uninterested in the things most relevant to people his age—like being financially stable and starting a family. They could no longer force him to believe that he was special than everyone else and encouraged him to abandon his ways. Abel did not listen to their advice and instead used alcohol to appease his pride. Abel works in an old-fashioned detective room, and when he was at the height of his power, the walls are hung with framed newspaper clippings commemorating his exploits. Until one day, a customer finally came to the door with an "adult" case - her boyfriend was stabbed to death a few weeks ago - apparently a victim of violent drugs. Caroline hoped that the young detective would find out for her who brutally murdered her boyfriend, restore her boyfriend's reputation, and bring the murderer to justice.
