The Strange Journey of Young Spivey

The little boy T.S. Spivey (played by Kyle Catlett) was born on a remote ranch in Montana. He has a very clever brain, loves cartography and scientific illustrations, and invented a perpetual motion machine when he was only ten years old. His father (played by Callum Keith Rennie) is an avid cowboy fan who collects everything about western cowboys; his mother (played by Helena Bonham Carter) is a Ph.D. in biology and devotes himself to the study of insects; T.S. originally had a fraternal twin brother, Layton, who died in an accident last year. On this day, T.S. received a call from the Smithsonian Institute, informing him that he had been awarded the Baird Prize, the world's largest scientific award, and invited him to give a speech in Washington. So, ten-year-old science wizard T.S. Spivey secretly climbed onto a freight train and embarked on a bizarre journey across the United States alone.
