Bells on the Mountain

In August 1945, the war that had come to an end spread to the mountainous areas of southwest my country. In a peaceful monastery, novice nuns Sister Li (played by Shu Qi) and Sister Qin (played by Wu Chenjun) have lively and non-standard personalities. Fortunately, the kind old dean always takes good care of these orphans from the mountain village. On August 10, a group of Chinese soldiers brought their wounded comrades to the monastery for help. Because they were unfamiliar with the terrain and lost their way, the task of blowing up the Japanese artillery positions could not be completed for a while.
