My Best Enemy

The story begins in Austria in 1930, when the Jewish millionaire Victor (played by Moritz Bleibtreu) and his girlfriend Lena (Ursula Strauss) Rudy (played by Georg Friedrich), a genuine Aryan, is a common friend of the two of them, and they have a very good relationship with each other. Victor collected a painting by Michelangelo. Unexpectedly, this precious painting became a turning point in the fate of the three people. The war broke out, and the Jews became the targets of the Nazi massacre. Victor was thrown into a concentration camp, and his collection of paintings was confiscated by Rudy, now an officer in the village. It became a "tribute" for the Nazis to please Italy. Unexpectedly, the painting was accused of being a fake, and Rudy was ordered to find Victor, because he was the only one who knew where the original work was hidden.
