"I'm from Beijing: Press the Calabash and Rise the Pear" is supervised by the Information Bureau of the Supreme People's Court, guided by the Beijing Radio and Television Bureau, organized by the Youth Working Committee of the China TV Drama Production Industry Association, produced by Beijing Changxin Film and Television Media Co., Ltd., and co-photographed by the Ningling County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Ningling County Government. Produced by Guo Jingyu, directed by Bai Shan, Xue Xin and Li Zixiao serve as chief producers, Liu Bo serves as producer, Li Zhichao and Liu Yuchang screenwriters, Yang Zhigang and Lu Yi Starring Heizi, Zhang Hui, Wei Ziyang, Hao Mingqi, Pei Xinglei, Gu Jing, Ma He and Lu Lin. The film takes the great historical process of "poverty alleviation" as the background of the story and tells the typical deeds of the poverty alleviation cadres of the Supreme People's Court in targeted poverty alleviation work. The film started filming on September 30, 2020, and all scenes were shot in Ningling County. After completing post-production, the film is scheduled to premiere on "National Constitution Day" on December 4.
