My Strange Father

When Salvo was five years old, his father Vincenzo (Massimo Popolizio) was imprisoned. Salvo, who lost his mother when he was young, became an orphan and was adopted by his aunt, starting a life of loneliness and dependence on others. Years passed in a blink of an eye, and Vincenzo was released from prison. At this time, Salvo was no longer the ignorant child who knew nothing when he left. The relationship between father and son had a huge rift due to Salvo's growth. Salvo was confused and angry about everything about Vincenzo, but the voices eventually faded into silence. Vincenzo and Salvo are going to southern Italy to complete a mission. During this not-so-smooth journey, they finally get the opportunity to examine the fragmented parent-child relationship and their respective hearts.
