Lipstick Under My Burkha

This film revolves around the stories of four women. In rural India, a female college student wrapped in a burqa from head to toe has unique beliefs and has always dreamed of becoming a pop singer; a young and beautiful beautician wants to escape the "imprisonment" of a small town and longs for freedom; a housewife with three children does not want to be just a child-bearing machine, she longs for a different life; and a 55-year-old widow dreams of having a romance with a handsome man. In this conservative society, four women are eager to break the shackles of reality and fight for independence and freedom.
