Theodore (Justice Smith) is a very sad young man who has confused thoughts of suicide lingering in his mind all day long. There are also several times when Theodore tries to turn the idea of suicide into reality, but at this juncture, something always happens to prevent Theodore from stepping into another world. Violet's (Elle Fanning) sister passed away, and Violet, who had a very good relationship with her sister, fell into pain and depression. She is studying and can't wait for the graduation season, so that she can completely escape the suffocating Indiana town and escape the shadow of her sister's death. Such two young people met by chance on the bell tower. Theodore discovered that this cute and straightforward girl could make him take off his mask and heart.
