The Summer of La Goulette

In the summer of 1967, there were three 17-year-old girls on the beach in the tourist resort of La Gulet, Tunisia: Gigi, a Sicilian who believed in God; Meriem, a mixed Tunisian and Arab; and Tina, a French Jew. They all want to take advantage of this summer to experience their first time as a challenge to their families. Their fathers Youssef, Jojo and Giuseppe are all old friends of each other, and their friendship is severely tested by the presence of their respective daughters.
