The story takes place in France in 1795. The junior officer Napoleon (played by Christian Clavier) met the beautiful Josephine (played by Isabella Rossellini), and the two fell in love at first sight and soon came together. Afterwards, Napoleon's outstanding performance in the war and the people's support for him aroused dissatisfaction with the Paris government, and his superiors sent Napoleon to the distant and dangerous Egypt. When Napoleon, who was far away in Egypt, learned that the country's security was being threatened by the anti-French alliance, he decisively returned to the country to launch a coup, and finally succeeded in becoming the chief executive. However, in 1807, with the support and instigation of the Tsar, Austria sent troops to France. In order to maintain the stability of the regime, Napoleon had to marry the Austrian princess. However, it was too late. At the same time, the sad Josephine also left Napoleon.
