Tango Lesson

Film director Sally (Sally Potter) encountered an inspiration blockage when writing a new script. After watching a passionate tango dance performance, Sally was deeply affected and seemed to have found some inspiration. She decided to leave her job for a while and start learning to dance tango. She traveled to Paris and met the famous tango dancer Pablo and was attracted by his dance. So she offered to let him act in her next film in exchange for Pablo teaching her how to dance. Sally becomes more and more obsessed with tango dancing, and while learning tango with Pablo, they fall in love with each other. However, the two people from different cultural backgrounds have a huge contrast in personality: Pablo, who is from South America, has a strong desire to control. He is used to controlling all details such as dance selection and music, and even his love with Sally; while Sally, as a feminist, is the key person who decides Pablo's participation in her film. The relationship between the two is sometimes tense and sometimes leisurely, and a love battle quietly begins.
