Guillotine

Gino (Alain Delon), who was sentenced to twelve years in prison for robbery, was released from prison after serving his sentence. With the enthusiastic help and persuasion of social worker Germain (Jean Gabin), he determined to change his past and start a new life. However, Sheriff Jettler (Michel Bouquet), who believes that "criminals will always be criminals", still distrusts him and opposes him everywhere. In the end, he was cornered and finally lost control and killed Sheriff Jettler. After a cold and dogmatic trial, Gino was finally pushed to the guillotine.
