Life-saving Declaration

The story takes place in Hong Kong in 1989. Ah B is a trainee doctor. Full of a sense of justice in his heart, he always likes to stand up and argue when he sees unfair things and systems. On the other hand, his good friend A Niu will cowardly hide behind A B when trouble comes. The two have very different personalities. However, it was precisely because of Ah B's strong personality that his tutor, Professor Zhu, was disgusted with him. In the graduation examination, Ah B, who had excellent grades, failed, while Ah Niu, who had always been mediocre, graduated with honors. Afterwards, A B became a social worker and met a girl named A Mei (played by Li Jiaxin) at work. A Mei admired A B's upright character very much, which was in sharp contrast to her boyfriend. Over time, Mei gradually developed a different kind of feeling for Ah B.
