A young man tries to win the heart of a beautiful girl he meets at a party. After a series of interesting and long conversations, the girl keeps rejecting him, but the young man never gives up. The story slowly unfolds in the interactions between the two... The film simplifies the closeness and separation stages of the emotional relationship into a power struggle between the sexes in less than twelve hours through the late nights and mornings spent by two lonely characters in the hustle and bustle of Madrid. It uses time symmetry to unfold two stories with completely different emotions before and after a one-night stand.
