The New Pretty Man

The film uses women to dress up as men, health dance, Chinese martial arts, and Tai Chi to bring out a story that combines laughter and ghosts. In order to make the story develop smoothly, the producers arranged two incompatible enemies at the beginning. The male is Zhu Wulang (Wuma), the host of the Chinese martial arts hall; the female is Ma Lia (Zhu Mimi), who runs the Ma's Tai Chi studio. Since the two live next to each other, there are conflicts from time to time. Zhu was superstitious and dressed up his daughter Yingcai (Luo Huijuan) as a man, and asked her to practice martial arts from an early age. All the students in the martial arts hall regarded Yingcai as their junior brother. However, Yingcai has a crush on his senior brother Hua Shanbo (Qian Jiale) and often expresses his love to him. The ignorant senior brother misunderstands that this junior brother has homosexual tendencies. Malia's niece Mengli (Ellen Chan) returned to Hong Kong from Japan. Mengli is a health dance teacher and implements the modernization of Ma's Tai Chi. Zhu's disciples, in pursuit of Mengli, have gone to Ma's house to learn health dance, which makes Zhu even more angry. On the day Mengli rebelled against Hong Kong, she was teased by Fei Zai. Fortunately, she was rescued by a talented person, and her heart secretly agreed. On the other hand, Hua Shanbo fell in love with Mengli, which led to a love triangle. In order to confess her daughter's identity to her senior brother, Yingcai was opposed by her father and caused a quarrel. Yingcai ran away from home. During the Ghost Festival in July, she was possessed by a ghost (Huang Yishan). Due to the disharmony between men and women, she caused a lot of troubles.
