New Tangshan Brother

Tangshan (played by Donnie Yen) returned to China after studying abroad and got medical treatment, and opened a Western medicine clinic with his assistant Liu Guobang in the slums of Zhabei, Shanghai. Yu Laoqi (played by Yu Rongguang), a local ax gang bully, often leads people to beat villagers in order to obtain a piece of land. Tangshan and Liu Guobang stop the attacks and provide free medical treatment to injured villagers. In order to stop Yu Laoqi, Tangshan visited the owner of the land, Simon, his teacher in England. At the expense of Simon's work, Tangshan saved the villagers' land. Yu Laoqi's sister Yu Xiaoqian (played by Zhu Yin) has been suffering from throat disease for many years and cannot speak. Yu Laoqi, who believes in the fox fairy, believes that seeking immortality can help her sister recover and rejects Western medicine treatment. Xiaoqian met Tangshan by chance. The latter's sincerity impressed Xiaoqian and made her undergo surgery. At the same time, children in the slums disappeared one after another. Tangshan discovered that the masterminds behind the incident were the Ax Gang and Simon, and a fierce battle was inevitable.
