The Legend of New Heroes

The story took place in the early days of the Anti-Japanese War. In the Baiyangdian area of ​​central Hebei Province, the common people organized the Yanling Team of the Anti-Japanese Self-Defense Force under the call of Communist Party member Hei Lao Cai. They took advantage of the terrain and rationally exerted their own characteristics to launch an effective guerrilla war against Japanese imperialism. Yang Xiaomei, the sister of Hei Lao Cai's wife, was abused by her husband Zhang Jinlong at home. She could no longer endure such torture, so she ran away to join her brother-in-law.
