Bride and Prejudice

Narida (played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) was born in a traditional Indian family. She has three sisters, all of whom are of marriageable age. In order to marry their daughters into good families, Mr. Bai (played by Anupam Kher) and Mrs. Bai (played by Nadira Babbar) have spent a lot of trouble. However, the smart and astute Narida is not willing to accept the marriage arranged by her parents. She believes that only she can decide who is the man who is truly suitable for her. Her father and mother regard Narida's behavior as rebellion and are deeply troubled. By chance, Narida met a rich man named Darcy (Martin Henderson). At first, both of them disliked each other, and their relationship was very tense. However, with the passage of time, Darcy gradually discovered that Narida was not the kind of empty embroidered pillow in the head, and Narida also discovered Darcy's kind and sincere side, and the flame of love secretly grew.
