The Era of Instant Noodles

Ding Bao (played by Li Yapeng) was born in a small town in Northeast China. He was admitted to the Central Academy of Drama and came to the prosperous capital Beijing. After graduation, Ding Bao wanted to stay in Beijing for development, so he chose to work at the Pingyi County Cultural Center in the suburbs of Beijing. Although this place can be regarded as the land of Beijing, the working environment and the people he interacts with are completely different from those that Ding Bao came into contact with in school. The work in the cultural center was very leisurely. Ding Bao, who was in his prime, felt bored in every possible way. He did not know how to cook in his spare time, so he could only rely on instant noodles of different flavors for three meals a day. Under the introduction of a friend, Ding Bao met a girl named Xiaochun (played by Gong Beibi). Xiaochun's appearance added a lot of happiness and vitality to Ding Bao's life. He also said goodbye to the era of instant noodles and tasted Xiaochun's good craftsmanship every day. One day, Ding Bao attended a class reunion and discovered that his former classmate had now become a famous playwright. Thinking of his own situation, Ding Bao, who was deeply affected, had doubts and shakes about his current life.
