Ruthless violence

This is the metropolis Milan, where the economic market is booming. Amidst the dazzling prosperity, crime incidents are destined to increase. Santo Russo, a Calabrian who grew up in the interior of Italy, committed petty theft in the suburbs and ended up in a juvenile prison. Later he decided to follow his ambition and rely on crime to survive. In just a few years, he becomes the mind and the armed wing of a powerful and feared gang, launching himself into increasingly dirty and profitable business: robbery, kidnapping, drug trafficking, money laundering, and not least of all – murder. In his endless pursuit of wealth and social satisfaction, Santo Russo is torn between two women: his wife, submissive and loyal, and his lover, beautiful, elegant and unattainable. He is faced with two completely different life choices, and he himself has two completely opposite faces. Santo's criminal path is made up of inevitable choices and painful experiences: others' life or death, passionate love or family, the fantastic middle-class life or ruthless society. "Ruthless Violence" is a narrative that spans a quarter of a century, based on the Italian gang, telling the story of Santo Russo: in the face of fashion, money, and art.
