Mr. Ibrahim and the Flowers of the Quran

The 15-year-old Israeli boy Moses (Pierre Boulanger) lives with his father (Pierre Boulanger) in a poor and dirty apartment on the Avenue Blue in Paris. His mother (played by Isabelle Renauld) ran away from home, and his father was obsessed with books all day long. He also made up an excellent brother who did not exist to attack Moses. The little boy who was supposed to enjoy the joy of childhood was depressed and gloomy, and gave his first time to the nearby wandering warbler. Moses went to steal from the nearby grocery store of Mr. Abraham (Omar Shariff), a Turkish Muslim, and was discovered by Abraham. The kind old man forgave the little boy in front of him and imparted knowledge to him affectionately. From then on, the old man and the young man began a precious friendship...
