Diary of the Eighth Moon

In the hot summer, lust is turbulent, with psychedelic lights and colors, a woman and two men dance indulgently to the music, and a passionate kiss breaks the balance of the three. As the scene changes, time goes backwards day by day, to the garden greenhouse they built for butterflies, to the intimacy and ambiguity that creeps into their lazy daily lives; and even more unexpectedly, when they step back outside the scene, they realize that everything is a quarantine filming scene, and the outside world is the real world that is being ravaged by the epidemic. Who said that filming the epidemic can only be done in a sad city? Portuguese author-director Miguel Gomez and his wife Maureen Fasendello invited their old team to fly with creativity and respond with lightness, and play together in the camera to relieve the depression of the disaster. In addition to the drama before the show, there are also the chattering of the crew members and the many restrictions of the new life of epidemic prevention. Going against the times is not about tracing the cause, it is a deconstruction of the relationship between movies and life, and a spiritual exploration of the filming scene. Movies don’t just happen in movies, they happen in the wonderful moments of life that connect each other.
