Crescent Moon

The story takes place in Beijing in the early years of the Republic of China. Han Yuerong (played by Song Dandan) lost his father when he was young, and his mother (played by Siqin Gaowa) remarried Cui Wu (played by Sun Benhou). Cui saw Yuerong as a child and provided her with a way to go to school. Unexpectedly, Cui Wu died unexpectedly, and Yuerong's mother and daughter were once again in trouble. Forced by life, her mother became a shameful prostitute. Yuerong felt unable to hold her head high, so she left home and moved into school. Not long after graduating from high school, he was worried about not being able to find a job. Gao Junsheng (played by Liao Jingsheng), who already had a family, was greedy for Yue Rong's youth and beauty, and provided him with room and board.
