In Brooklyn, New York, there is an Italian family. Every full moon night, they seem to be enchanted and do some inexplicable actions. Lolita Castorini (Cher) is the only daughter in the family, a young and beautiful accountant in the company. Because her ex-husband was involved in a car accident, he became a widow. One night, in the pub, Lolita witnessed the tragedy of the breakup at the table next to her. She seemed to be stimulated and decided to marry Johnny, a 41-year-old bachelor.
