The lovelorn young man Zhao Xiaoshuai (played by Jiang Wen) is an individual bookseller. After breaking up with his girlfriend An Hong (played by Qu Ying), he wants to reconcile and insists on them. However, An Hong is in love with Liu Delong (played by Liu Xinyi), the boss of an entertainment company, and the two who regard each other as their love rival finally come to blows.
