The Road to Doom

In a desperate future, the world seems like a huge ruin, and everything as far as the eye can see is desolate and gloomy. Human civilization has been completely destroyed in the doomsday catastrophe. In the case of extreme shortage of resources, the survivors have resorted to all possible means, and there have even been tragic cases of cannibalism. The whole world presents a hellish scene. A father (Viggo Mortensen) and his son (Kodi Smit-McPhee) are on an endless journey. They kept heading south, looking for warmer places of refuge. The dilapidated supermarket trolleys carried all the belongings of the father and son. The road ahead is long and there is little hope. The father keeps recalling the voice and smile of his wife (Charlize Theron) and the good times in their past. But now that the good times are no longer there, the father and son have no idea where their future will be... The film is adapted from the work of American novelist Cormac McCarthy.
