The Unsent Letter

The story takes place in the uninhabited primeval forest of Yaku, Siberia, Sergei (Yevgeni Urbansky) (played by Vasili Livanov), Daniya (played by Tatyana Samojlova) and Sabinin (played by Innokenti Smoktunovsky) are four members of the geological exploration team. They are exploring here and want to find precious diamond deposits. It was so difficult to find a small mineral deposit in the vast virgin forest. The four people worked for several days, but found nothing, and they all fell into despair. However, at this juncture, Daniya accidentally dug up a piece of diamond, which meant that the deposit was not far away. The exploration team drew a map and prepared to take it to the headquarters. At this time, a raging fire suddenly broke out in the forest. Amidst the thick smoke and flames, the group paid a heavy price to protect the map.
