Mao Ji'er

This film tells the story of the spiritual weaning journey of two rural teenagers. Liangzi (played by Li Ming) once injured a hen that was laying eggs at home with a slingshot. The injured hen only ate food and could not lay eggs. Her mother did not want to waste the food and planned to sell it at the market.
