Sleeping Beauty

This film is adapted from a true story, which is well known in Italy. A young woman named Elena Ngoraro's life will end after 17 years in a vegetative state, sparking a nationwide row over whether to euthanize her. The film looks at this event through several characters with different beliefs and identities. A senator struggles with whether to vote for a law he disagrees with, torn between his conscience and his loyalty to his party. His daughter Maria is a pro-life activist and has been protesting in front of the hospital where Elena is being treated. Brother Roberto and Maria had exactly the opposite opinions, but by chance, Roberto and Maria fell in love. .This is an issue about life. -
