Days Without Me

Anne the janitor who is not yet 24 years old (Sarah Polley ) was diagnosed with cancer and only had two to three months to live. Anne's husband was the first and only man in her life. Her husband allowed her to give birth to daughters when she was 17 and 19 respectively. Her father, who was in prison, could not provide her with shelter, and the relationship with her mother was not good. The family of four lived in a trailer. Fortunately, her husband recently got a job building a swimming pool. Anne decided to hide her illness from her family and wrote ten wishes before her death, including finding another man who loves her, preparing a birthday message for her daughter, meeting her father once with a stepmother, and enjoying the rest of her life. Annie encounters a surveyor who has returned from Alaska in the laundry room, and the two fall in love with each other. But she failed when she introduced her female colleague who was full of diet plans to her husband. Soon a female neighbor with the same name as Anne arrived, and she seemed to be Anne's ideal candidate. Everything is coming true step by step, as well as Anne's death... The film won many awards including Best Canadian Film at the 2003 Atlantic Film Festival.
