L.A. Mystery

Eugene (played by David Duchovny) is a very experienced surgeon. However, after work, he is also an addict who suffers from drug addiction. During an operation, Eugene hallucinated due to taking drugs, which led to the failure of the operation and the death of an innocent girl. Deep self-blame haunted Eugene, causing him to give up on himself. One day, Eugene came to the bar to get drunk as usual and accidentally witnessed a shooting incident. A man was shot in the chest and his life was in danger. Eugene used the professional instinct of a doctor to save the man and finally succeeded in saving his life. All this was seen by a man named Raymond (Timothy Hutton). Raymond found Eugene and hoped to hire him to work for him. What Eugene had to do was to treat criminals who could not go to the hospital.
